Acting Up!

Whether you're a seasoned performer or brand new to the stage, this camp is designed for students who love acting and improv! Come play theater games and learn stage skills while exploring how to build a character through scene work and improvisation (storytelling without a script). Students will also learn some basic stage combat and on-camera acting technique! Focus is put on developing imagination, social skills, and a positive self-image through the performing arts. Family and friends are invited to a special performance on the last day of camp.

Location: Southwood Glen Elementary in Franklin

This camp takes place at Southwood Glen Elementary (9090 S 35th Street, Franklin). Pick Up and Drop Off will be by the main doors closest to the gymnasium, not the main office. Please send a snack and water bottle with your child each day. Weather permitting, we will be taking our snack break outside on the playground, so feel free to have them wear sunscreen if necessary. Family and friends are invited to a special performance at the end of each week. We’ll send out an information email with more details about your specific camp/s when it gets closer.
